If your rate of change is less than the rate of change for the world, you are headed for obsolescence. You must change at least at the same rate as the world, or you are falling behind. You must constantly update your current knowledge and gain new knowledge, or those who know more than you, will leave you behind. Be learning constantly, and improving your skills, and you will always be in demand.
